Republicans have owned the term "Conservative" for the past several decades but ask yourself, what is conservative about their policies today? The harmful environmental practices they have voted for alone disqualifies them. Fracking a delicate environment that relies on its rivers for most of its drinking water? Deep water drilling off a coast that regularly deals with major hurricanes? Is it too obvious to say that real conservative values should support conservation? Do no harm? Take few risks?
